Dr. Raymond is a native of Gallitzin and a graduate of Penn Cambria High School. He obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia where he ranked 4th in his class of 130. After completing his surgical residency at the Community Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Raymond returned to Altoona where he has been practicing since 1983. Dr. Raymond was a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society, Stirling Hartford Anatomical Society and the National Deans List. He is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons, and is a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has published articles in the journal of the American Podiatry Association and the Journal of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has been a principle investigator and a sub-investigator for several clinical drug studies including post-surgical analgesics, diabetic ulcerations, infections and ankle sprains. He is a resident of Hollidaysburg with his wife, Donna, and two children, Carly and Alex. Dr. Raymond enjoys tennis, running, golf and coaching basketball. |
